Felix Rosenqvist Wins Indy 500

That left David Malukas to claim his spot as one of IndyCar’s most electric young racers. He took the lead on the restart and held it all the way through turn four — but it wasn’t meant to be. Sweden’s Felix Rosenqvist had more juice down the final stretch, claiming the lead moments before crossing the bricks for his first Indy 500 win and a place on the Borg Warner Trophy.

A heartbroken Malukas finished second. 2025 champion Alex Palou led more laps than anyone in the field — 59 out of 200 — but was forced to settle for seventh place.
